A beautiful one of a kind handmade journal/2019 diary, with covers made from a real vintage map of Wye Valley, England, from 1963.

This journal has been bound together by me (Esther) from my studio in Somerset using Coptic binding, an ancient Egyptian method of bookbinding which allows the book to lie completely flat.

This journal is available with 2019 planner pages, or blank pages for writing and drawing, select from the drop down menu before purchasing.

The diary insert has been designed by me with a simple and clear weekly layout, featuring a 2019 calendar and lined pages for notes. There is a central ribbon so you can easily find your place and elastic to keep the covers closed when not in use.

Please note as each book is completely unique the covers will not be exactly the same as in the photo but will be taken from the same map, so will be similar.

The colour of the stitches, ribbon and elastic will be chosen to compliment the colours of the covers of each book.
